The 2026 national final returns to London

This year’s finalists will meet in the City for a live trading day and the Trader of the Year award.

After three rounds of heats and regional semi-finals, the top teams from across the UK will gather in London for the 2026 national final — a full day of live trading, judging and, for one student, the Trader of the Year title.

What the final day looks like

Finalists trade a fresh portfolio against the clock, defend their biggest calls to a panel, and see the standings update through the day. It is the challenge distilled into a single, fast session.

How teams get there

Places are earned, not entered: the combined league feeds the semi-finals, and the strongest semi-finalists claim the final spots. Every daily decision through the year is what puts a team on that list.

Prizes and beyond

Winners share scholarships and a trip, but most alumni say the real prize is arriving at university or a first job already fluent in how markets think.
